Project Background
METALLOINVEST is a leading vertically integrated mining and metallurgical company in Russia. Its headquarters are located in Moscow. Its core business covers: Iron ore mining, steel production and the manufacturing of related high-value-added products. Its market position is the largest globally. Hot Briquetted Iron (HBI) producer It is also a major supplier of Russian iron ore and steel products.
Our company has been involved in this project for two years. We stood out from a fiercely competitive field of over 20 local Russian and Chinese manufacturers, successfully navigating through multiple rounds of complex and challenging technical clarifications, on-site clarifications at the Russian factory, and visits to the Chinese factory headquarters for on-site inspections. We meticulously addressed each of the thousands of items listed in both the technical and commercial specifications set forth by the client. As a result, by the end of 2025, we received the winning bid notification for the construction of a new MHBI production line and the renovation of an existing OEMK production line, supplying three customized, large-capacity refrigerated air dryers.
During the factory audit conducted by Russian owners, the focus is on the production and manufacturing process. Raw material traceability ， Welding process ， Russian standard for pressure vessels ， Process inspection and manufacturing processes We conducted detailed communication and rigorous review on the difficulties and other relevant issues, ensuring that the supplied industrial equipment fully complies with all standards and certifications applicable to Russia’s local industrial sector. We also set forth professional and stringent acceptance criteria for equipment performance indicators. As a result, our company became the first in the industry to achieve this milestone in 2014. Russian EAC Certification Moreover, over the subsequent decade, we have consistently supplied products to renowned Russian clients—including SIBUR Petrochemical, CZP Chelyabinsk Zinc Group, URALCHEM Ural Chemicals, RED OCTOBER Red Sun Steel, TATNEFT Tatar Oil, LUKOIL Lukoil, and major players in the oil & gas, power generation, and other industries—earning high recognition and praise for our reliable and long-term supply performance.
Our company successfully held the Project Kick-off Meeting (KOM) for the dual-production-line project in January 2026. Two-way communication during the design phase is proceeding smoothly and systematically. We anticipate delivering supplies to the METALLOINVEST client’s site in May and November 2026, respectively.
