Linuo Machinery: Drilling Safety into a Busy Workday
Recently, all of our production lines have been in the midst of a busy production cycle. However, we’ve never let our guard down on the principle that “safety is the foundation of production.” While we’re working full-out to ensure timely order fulfillment and the workshop is bustling with activity, at 12:35 p.m. on November 28, the company will conduct a fire emergency evacuation and firefighting drill according to our contingency plan—from orderly evacuations (organized by floor, with participants covering their mouths and noses and crouching low to escape) to hands-on instruction on using fire extinguishers. Every step of the drill precisely mirrors the safety requirements of real-life scenarios.
The alarm is the command—evacuate in an orderly manner.
The drill was officially launched. Colleagues in the office building responded swiftly. Under the organization of the floor supervisors, they strictly followed the emergency plan and carried out an orderly evacuation, starting from the staircase on the east side of the building, floor by floor. Everyone remained calm and composed. During the evacuation, they covered their mouths and noses with their hands or clothing—demonstrating the correct posture for preventing inhalation of harmful smoke in a fire—and quickly made their way to the assembly point in the lobby on the first floor.

Meanwhile, in the production workshop, under the command of their team leaders, each work team temporarily suspended their ongoing tasks and swiftly yet orderly evacuated along the prearranged routes to the designated assembly point at the north gate of the workshop. The entire process was characterized by clear instructions, timely responses, and highly efficient actions, demonstrating the employees’ strong safety awareness and excellent spirit of teamwork.

Master practical skills to prevent fires before they start.
After the personnel have safely evacuated, the drill enters its second critical phase—practical fire-fighting exercises. This drill specifically includes a lecture and hands-on training session on the proper use of fire extinguishers.

The company’s safety officer had prepared in advance all the fire-fighting equipment needed for the drill and provided a detailed on-site explanation of the dry powder fire extinguisher’s structure, operating principle, and the four-character mnemonic—“lift, pull, grip, press”—for its proper use. The explanation was both thorough and easy to understand, with a clear emphasis on key points.
Subsequently, with absolute safety assured, some colleagues were invited to step forward and personally operate fire extinguishers to put out simulated fires. Through hands-on practice, everyone became thoroughly familiar with the feel of operating a fire extinguisher, overcame any latent fears they might have had when facing a real fire, and successfully transformed theoretical knowledge into practical emergency response skills.

At the conclusion of the drill, the production manager provided on-site comments and a summary. He first praised all employees for their serious attitude and well-organized discipline demonstrated during the drill, and once again emphasized the utmost importance of safe production. He pointed out that the heavier the production workload, the more crucial it is to keep safety at the forefront—there’s simply no room for even the slightest carelessness. Today’s drill is a vivid demonstration of our commitment to the principle: “Focus on the present moment and take every step seriously.”

This fire drill is not only a routine exercise in implementing established safety procedures; it also serves as an effective reinforcement of safety awareness among all employees at a critical time when the company is making every effort to meet its production targets.
