Electric Heaters: The High-Efficiency Thermal Powerhouse in Drying Systems
As a heating device, electric heaters play a vital role in drying equipment, working closely together to complete the material drying process.
Almost all types of drying equipment require electric heating to heat the regenerative adsorbent (except for those without heat). Electric heaters provide the necessary thermal energy for drying equipment. The quality of this component directly affects the drying effect of the final product gas. Different types of drying equipment have different requirements for electric heaters.
Although we focus on the research and development and manufacturing of various gas drying devices, equipment components have a significant impact on overall performance. In the past two years of rapid development, we have still invested a lot of energy in research and testing of components, including electric heaters.
PART.01 Optimizing the design of electric heaters
We mainly studied the design of high-power electric heaters. We added a heat dissipation area to prevent excessively high temperatures from affecting the junction box. Regarding the internal heat exchange tube arrangement, we also conducted thermal imaging simulation studies with professional heater manufacturers. By changing the heat exchange tube layout, we improved heat exchange efficiency, reduced the size, and solved problems such as wasted heat exchange area due to excessive internal cavities and abnormal temperatures in local heat exchange tubes.
PART.02 Optimizing the process to adjust the drying temperature
We select the appropriate drying temperature based on the properties of the material to avoid pyrolysis or deterioration due to excessively high temperatures. For example, for some easily pyrolyzed materials, we need to carefully control the temperature of the electric heater to ensure that the temperature remains within a safe range during the drying process.
We also adjusted the heat exchange tube specification, wiring distance, and center distance to reduce temperature blind spots and improve the performance of high-power electric heaters. Often, these small changes can bring huge improvements to the equipment and provide greater safety for customers.
Electric heaters and drying equipment complement each other. Electric heaters supply stable thermal energy to drying equipment, helping it to efficiently dry materials. The two work together to provide key technical support for production in various industries.
